The 1.3.3.001 update focused on making the game a less linear experience, with various recipe tweaks to move summoning items lower in progression, along with removing various anti-cheat features from boss fights. The update also reworked Polterghast, split most post-Moon Lord armor sets into several classes with multiple helmets, and resprited The Hive Mind, The Perforators, and various weapon projectile sprites.

Astrum Deus[]

  • Now removes the early-Hardmode nerf to enemy health and damage when defeated.

  • Now removes the early-Hardmode nerf to enemy health and damage when defeated.

Aquatic Scourge[]

  • Buffed health from 50,000 / 80,000 / 92,800 / 152,320 to 63,000 / 100,800 / 110,400 / 184,320.
  • Now drops 20-41 / 25-41 Souls of Sight.
  • All segments now cap projectile penetration at 4 instead of 2 in Revengeance Mode.
  • Projectiles from Crimson Rod, Crystal Serpent, Nimbus Rod, Shaderain Staff, and Vilethorn-like weapons now do 65% damage instead of 35% in Revengeance Mode.
  • Now takes 80% damage from infinitely piercing projectiles instead of 25% in Revengeance Mode.

  • Cataclysm's flamethrower and Catastrophe's fireballs now inflict Brimstone Flames for 4 seconds instead of 3.

Ceaseless Void[]

  • Buffed damage resistance from 99.99% to 99.9999%.

Desert Scourge[]

  • Tweaked movement of both the large and small worms.
  • Now takes 80% damage from Molotov Cocktails instead of 65%.
  • Now takes 50% damage from explosives instead of 20%.
  • Now takes 80% damage from infinitely piercing projectiles instead of 25% in Revengeance Mode.

The Destroyer[]

  • Frost lasers no longer inflict Glacial State if the player is already inflicted with it.
  • Body segments now cap projectile penetration at 4 instead of 2 in Revengeance Mode.
  • Projectiles from Crimson Rod, Crystal Serpent, Nimbus Rod, Shaderain Staff, and Vilethorn-like weapons now do 65% damage instead of 35% in Revengeance Mode.

The Devourer of Gods[]

  • Phase 1 no longer fires gravity bombs and orbs.
  • Decreased phase 1's laser spread.
  • Tweaked phase 1's movement.
  • Defeating phase 1 will now spawn weakened versions of the Sentinels of the Devourer.
  • Phase 2 will now spawn 42 seconds after phase 1 has been defeated instead of 10.
  • Phase 2 now switches between phases slower.
  • Phase 2 now gains increased damage resistance if any of the sentinels are alive.
  • No longer disables mounts, portal physics, and wiring in Death Mode.
  • No longer causes Chaos State to damage the player over time in Death Mode.

Duke Fishron[]

  • Now removes the early-Hardmode nerf to enemy health and damage when defeated.

Eater of Worlds[]

  • Now takes 80% damage from infinitely piercing projectiles instead of 25% in Revengeance Mode.
  • No longer divides projectile damage by the amount of times that said projectile penetrates in Revengeance Mode.

Jungle Dragon, Yharon[]

  • Buffed Bumblebirb contact damage from 180 / 360 to 200 / 400.
  • Phase 2 can now only be initiated if the player has the Darksun Ring equipped and both The Devourer of Gods and Providence, the Profaned God have been defeated.
    • Silva armor can no longer initiate phase 2.
  • Phase 2's fireballs are now able to home upwards occasionally.
  • Angery Flame is now exclusive to Death Mode.
  • Angery Flame now gets more aggressive when Yharon hits 50% and 30% health in phase 2 instead of 80% and 40%.
  • No longer disables mounts, portal physics, and wiring in Death Mode.

Lunatic Cultist[]

  • Increased health multiplier from 2x / 3x to 3x / 6x.
  • Reduced projectile rain fire rate, and removed fire rate scaling as its health lowers.
  • Now removes the early-Hardmode nerf to enemy health and damage when defeated.

The Perforators[]

  • Decreased small Perforator's segment count from 12 to 8.
  • Decreased medium Perforator's segment count from 22 / 8 to 12 / 7.
  • Decreased large Perforator's segment count from 32 / 12 to 17 / 9.
  • The Perforator Hive now has a 50% chance to shoot a volley of ichor shots instead of blood geysers.
  • Tweaked movement of all three Perforators.

The Plaguebringer Goliath[]

  • Tweaked how The Plaguebringer Goliath despawns if the player is too far away.
  • Now removes the early-Hardmode nerf to enemy health and damage when defeated.

Plantera[]

  • Now removes the early-Hardmode nerf to enemy health and damage when defeated.

Polterghast[]

  • Buffed Polterghast Hook's health from 20,000 to 50,000 / 60,000 / 100,000.
  • Now spawns a clone in phase 3.
  • No longer fires shots in phase 3.
  • Polterghast Hooks will now detach in phase 2, and periodically open up and fire phantom shots.
  • 3 Phantoms will now spawn and orbit the player closely instead of a single Phantom keeping a distance from the player.
  • Blue phantom shots now bounce 4 times instead of 2, and pink phantom shots now bounce 5 times instead of 3.

Profaned Guardians[]

  • All three guardians are no longer immune to Abyssal Flames, Armor Crunch, Demon Flames, God Slayer Inferno, Nightwither, Shred, and Whispering Death.
  • Swapped the sprites for the main and rock guardians.

Providence, the Profaned God[]

  • Buffed health from 200,000 / 320,000 / 352,000 / 720,000 to 230,000 / 368,000 / 416,000 / 800,000.
  • Buffed offensive guardian's health from 35,000 / 70,000 to 40,000 / 80,000.
  • Buffed defender guardian's health from 17,000 / 34,000 to 20,000 / 40,000.
  • Can now drop Divine Geodes in Normal Mode.
  • Providence and her three guardians are no longer immune to Abyssal Flames, Armor Crunch, Demon Flames, God Slayer Inferno, Nightwither, Shred, and Whispering Death.
  • Swapped the sprites for the offensive and defender guardians.
  • No longer disables wiring.

Ravager[]

Signus, Envoy of the Devourer[]

  • Buffed health from 230,000 / 368,000 / 400,000 to 300,000 / 480,000 / 528,000.
  • Now spawns Cosmic Mines during teleports in phase 1.
  • No longer immune to Abyssal Flames, Armor Crunch, Demon Flames, God Slayer Inferno, Nightwither, Shred, and Whispering Death.

Siren and Leviathan[]

  • Now remove the early-Hardmode nerf to enemy health and damage when defeated.

Skeletron Prime[]

  • Limbs are now affected by the early Hardmode damage and health nerfs.

Storm Weaver[]

  • Decreased segment count in both phases from 52 to 32.
  • Phase 1's head can no longer be targeted by homing weapons and minions.
  • No longer enrages when outside of Space.
  • Tweaked phase 2's movement.

Supreme Calamitas[]

  • Tweaked damage resistance.
  • Buffed Sepulcher's damage resistance from 99.99% to 99.999%.
  • No longer disables mounts, portal physics, and wiring in Death Mode.

  • Increased the size of Ataxia armor's damaging and healing flare orbs' dusts.
  • Ataxia armor's damaging orbs now produce less dust and no longer produce dust when destroyed.
  • Renamed Auric Tesla Helm to Auric Tesla Royal Helm.
  • Blood Clot Staff's Blood Clots now charge at enemies instead of latching onto them.
  • Bloodflare armor no longer increases the chance for Blood Moons to occur.
  • Wearing Bloodflare armor with a Bloodflare Mask now causes true melee strikes to heal the player, and every 15 true melee strikes causes the player to enter a blood frenzy state, increasing damage, critical strike chance, and halving damage taken for 5 seconds with a 30 second cooldown.
  • Death Valley Duster now uses the Rarity Level: 5 rarity instead of Rarity Level: 8.
  • Flarefrost Blade now uses the Rarity Level: 5 rarity instead of Rarity Level: 6.
  • Frigidflash Bolt now uses the Rarity Level: 5 rarity instead of Rarity Level: 6.
  • Renamed God Slayer Helm to God Slayer Horned Greathelm.
  • Melee God Slayer armor now has a thorns effect.
  • Renamed Winter's Fury to Icicle Staff.
  • Primordial Earth now uses the Rarity Level: 8 rarity instead of Rarity Level: 10.
  • Reaper Tooth Necklace now increases the Revengeance Mode damage and critical strike chance caps by 10%.
  • Reaver Shark can now be swung at all times in Revengeance Mode instead of only after Eater of Worlds or Brain of Cthulhu has been defeated.
  • Changed the first lines of Rune of Kos' tooltip from "Used to seal the sentinels of the cosmic devourer" to "A relic of the profaned flame. Contains the power hunted relentlessly by the sentinels of the cosmic devourer".
  • Melee Silva armor now causes true melee strikes to have a 25% chance to deal 10x more damage, halves contact damage after Silva Invulnerability is over, and causes melee projectiles to inflict Silva Stun.
  • Silva armor's invulnerability now produces less dust and its dust is no longer affected by gravity.
  • Melee Tarragon armor now has a cloaking ability bound to a hotkey which reduces contact damage for 10 seconds and has a 30 second cooldown.
  • Throwing class items can now be reforged.
  • Void of Extinction now makes the player immune to Lava.
  • Increased the size of Xeroc armor's damaging and healing orbs' dusts.

  • Fixed Ancient Medallion, Astral Chunk, Decapodita Sprout, and Teratoma spawning their respective bosses directly on top of the player.

  • Fixed some positioning errors with Energy Staff's Profaned Energy sentry.
  • Fixed main and rock Profaned Guardians having switched sprites.

  • Removed the curse of the eldritch life regeneration nerf caused by defeating the Moon Lord.
