The 1.5.0.003 (or 1.5.0.3) update adjusted the Exo Mechs boss fight, buffed several Pre-Hardmode weapons, and fixed several issues from the 1.5.0.001 and 1.5.0.002 versions.

  • Teleportation effects are now only disabled while the player has the Boss Effects debuff instead of while any boss is alive.
  • Brain of Cthulhu Creepers and Eater of Worlds segments now have a 50% damage resistance to the Demon Scythe projectiles.
  • Brain of Cthulhu Creepers and Eater of Worlds segments can now drop Hearts when they are killed on Revengeance Mode.
  • Eater of Worlds segments now have a 40% damage resistance to the Sky Glaze projectiles.
  • Decreased Skeletron's Reactive Damage Reduction timer from 2 minutes and 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
  • The Slime God's Abyss Ball projectiles now accelerate over time. Increased their duration from 4 seconds to 5 / 8 / 9 / 10 / 13 seconds for the Corrupt variant and 4 / 6.5 / 7.33 / 8.17 / 10.67 for the Crimson variant.
  • Nerfed XF-09 Ares Gauss Spark damage from 300 / 451 / 472 / 484 to 250 / 376 / 394 / 404.
  • Decreased XF-09 Ares Tesla Sphere projectile velocity by 16.67% while it is firing Exo Overload Beams or when all three mechs are alive.
  • Nerfed XF-09 Ares Exo Overload Beam damage from 500 / 752 / 788 / 808 to 450 / 676 / 712 / 732, Exothermal Laser damage from 450 / 676 / 712 / 732 to 400 / 600 / 632 / 648, Pulse Laser, Plasma Blast, and Tesla Sphere damages from 350 / 528 / 556 / 572 to 320 / 480 / 504 / 532, and Exoplasma Bolt damage from 280 / 422 / 444 / 457 to 256 / 384 / 403 / 425.
  • Nerfed XM-05 Thanatos Exo Pulse Laser damage from 350 / 528 / 556 / 572 to 320 / 480 / 504 / 532.
  • XS-01 Artemis and XS-03 Apollo player prediction ability on Malice Mode has been decreased slightly.
  • XS-01 Artemis and XS-03 Apollo now swap phases slightly less often on all difficulties.
  • XS-01 Artemis and XS-03 Apollo fire their Pulse Laser and Plasma Blast projectiles less frequently.
  • Decreased XS-01 Artemis Exo Pulse Laser projectile velocity by 25%.
  • Nerfed XS-01 Artemis Exothermal Beam damage from 450 / 676 / 712 / 732 to 400 / 600 / 632 / 648 and Pulse Laser damage from 350 / 528 / 556 / 572 to 320 / 480 / 504 / 532.

  • Buffed Abyssal Tome's base damage from 30 to 33.
  • Rebalanced Acid Gun, buffed base damage from 15 to 17, but increased its use time from 20 to 45.
  • Buffed Air Spinner's base damage from 21 to 26.
  • Alpha Ray will now properly fire a spread of lasers with its alternative fire.
    • Nerfed the spread lasers' knockback from 100% of base to 40% of base.
  • Buffed Amber Staff's use time from 28 to 25.
  • Buffed Amethyst Staff, decreased its mana cost from 3 to 2.
  • Buffed Aorta's base damage from 23 to 29.
  • Buffed Aqua Scepter's base damage from 15 to 21, and its projectiles now have increased velocity.
  • Rebalanced Aquamarine Staff, buffed base damage from 10 to 17, increased its use time from 15 to 22, and increased its projectile velocity from 9 to 14.
  • Reworked Avalanche, its ice bomb projectiles that spawn on hit now travel in an "X" or "+" pattern and explode into gravity affected ice shard projectiles after 3 seconds. Buffed base damage from 60 to 100, but nerfed its use time from 19 to 34.
  • Buffed Bee Gun's base damage from 9 to 11.
  • Buffed Bee Keeper's base damage from 44 to 55.
  • All Bee and Giant Bee projectiles can now pierce enemies once.
  • Buffed Black Anurian's base damage from 36 to 43.
  • Buffed Blood Bath's base damage from 25 to 31.
  • Buffed Bloody Rupture's base damage from 26 to 33.
  • Buffed Book of Skulls projectile velocity from 3.5 to 9.

  • Buffed Crimson Rod, its rain projectiles now inflict the Burning Blood debuff for 1 second on hit.
  • Buffed Daedalus Golem Staff, its minions will now stand on either side of the player or enemies instead of exclusively standing on the right side. Additionally, its minions can now walk on one-block thick floors as intended.
  • Decreased Defense damage recovery delay from 0.5 seconds to 0.17 and minimum total regeneration time from 1 second to 0.83.
  • Buffed Demon Scythe's base damage from 26 to 33, its mana cost from 14 to 10, and gave it autouse.
  • Buffed Diamond Staff's base damage from 23 to 26.
  • Nerfed Eldritch Tome's base damage from 48 to 42.
  • Buffed Emerald Staff's base damage from 19 to 28.
  • Rebalanced Flamelash, buffed its base damage from 40 to 75, but increased its use time from 20 to 38.
  • Rebalanced Flare Bolt, buffed its base damage from 27 to 42, but increased its use time from 20 to 30.
  • Buffed Flower of Fire's base damage from 48 to 60 and gave it autoswing.
