The Abyssal Diving Suit was a craftable Godseeker Mode accessory which transformed the user into an armored diver when equipped. It provided water breathing, and it combined and enhanced the effects of the Abyssal Diving Gear, Anechoic Plating and Iron Boots, making it the ultimate tool for exploring the Abyss. Additionally, while the player was underwater, their movement speed and acceleration were boosted by 5%; otherwise, their movement speed and acceleration were reduced by 60%.
The suit possessed "armored plates" that reduced damage dealt to the player by 15%. However, the plates would be damaged if the player took more than 50 damage in one hit. The plates could sustain 3 of those hits before breaking. Once broken, they would take 3 minutes to regenerate. While the plates recharged, the player would not benefit from their damage reduction bonus.

Notes[]
- The damage reduction provided by the suit's plates was calculated separately from typical damage reduction. As a result, it was not affected by the Calamity Mod's DR scaling system.
- The check for how much damage was dealt to the player, for determining whether the plates will be damaged, occured after all defense and damage reduction calculations.
Trivia[]
- When the player got hurt, the sound played is similar to the mechanical hurt sound.
