Alluring Bait
Alluring Bait is a Pre-Hardmode accessory that is caught while fishing in the Sulphurous Sea or Abyss. It increases the player's fishing power by 30 during day, 45 during night, and 60 during a Solar Eclipse. It also increases the chance to catch fish that are materials in Potions.
Alluring Bait increases the chance to catch potion fish through the formula (Fishing Power/10)%, capping the chance at 33.33%. In order to reach this cap, the player must have 333 fishing power or greater.

- Alluring Bait can only be caught with a 1/25 (4%) chance if fishing with between 40 and 159 fishing power.
- Despite having "Bait" in its name, it is an accessory and not fishing bait.
