The Astral Pickaxe is a craftable Hardmode pickaxe capable of mining blocks up to 
Lihzahrd Brick and 
Scoria Ore. It has a range bonus of 3 tiles and has a higher than average critical strike chance. It releases light emitting particles when swung, and inflicts the Astral Infection debuff onto enemies upon contact.
Its best modifier is Legendary. While Light may seem to provide a better speed boost by percentages, rounding reveals that Legendary and Light mine at equal speeds for this tool.
