Eye of Magnus is a craftable Hardmode classless weapon that is an upgraded version of the Lunic Eye. When used it fires a fast, blue-and-white beam that homes in on enemies and will restore 25 mana and 1 HP upon contact with an enemy. The beam inflicts the Marked debuff to enemies, which lowers enemy damage reduction by 50%. Upon impact, each beam will create an explosive plume of blue-and-white particles which can deal additional damage. This weapon does not consume any ammo or mana.
The Eye of Magnus cannot be reforged, and therefore cannot have modifiers.

Notes[]
- This weapon does not have any critical strike chance and cannot gain any from Accessories, Modifiers, Buffs and Armor bonuses.
- As this weapon does not count as a specific weapon type, it does not provoke the penalty on minions' damage when holding a non-summoner weapon, making it an indispensable asset for summon-based characters.
- The damage multiplication is equal to the sum of all the damage multiplication across each of the 5 classes (Melee, Ranged, Mage, Summoner, Rogue).
- e.g. If the player has +10% melee damage, +30% ranged damage and +5% rogue damage, the Lunic Eye will deal 45% more damage.
- The additional hits from the impact explosion will not replenish HP or mana, only the initial enemy hit will.
Trivia[]
- This weapon shares its effects and name with the Staff of Magnus and Eye of Magnus, respectively, from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
- This weapon was originally obtained from Rune Wizards, then changed to a drop from the Lunatic Cultist, before becoming a craftable upgrade to the Lunic Eye.
- It was formerly the rare variant of the Lunic Eye.
