The Rusty Beacon Prototype is a craftable Pre-Hardmode summon weapon that can also be found in Rusty Chests. When used, it summons a Rusty drone that follows the player's cursor slowly. It cannot move through blocks. It will inflicts the Irradiated debuff on enemies within a 5 tile radius of the drone. This radius is increased to 20 tiles if the drone is within a 2 tile range of the player's cursor. The Rusty drone is also helpful for providing light, and will provide an Abyss light level of 2.

The Rusty Beacon Prototype cannot be reforged, and therefore cannot have modifiers.
