The Ion Blaster is a craftable Hardmode magic gun. It fires continuously accelerating ion blasts that have increased damage the more mana the player has in reserve. Its projectiles inflict the Brimstone Flames debuff upon hitting an enemy. The projectile damage is multiplied by 0.2 added to 1.4 times of the player's mana ratio, dealing 20% damage at 0 mana and 160% damage at full mana. Additionally, the projectile size is multiplied by 0.75 added to 0.75 times of the player's mana ratio, being 75% size at 0 mana and 150% size at full mana. Having the Astral Injection buff caps the maximum damage multiplier at 111% and size at 123.75%.

Its best modifier is Mythical.
