Roxcalibur is a craftable Hardmode broadsword that can also be found in Pre-Hardmode, though the sword cannot be swung until the Wall of Flesh is defeated.

When swung, it launches three gravity affected rock shards that do 40% of the Roxcalibur's base damage. The shards are always launched upward in an arc, though their horizontal velocity is based on the cursor's position, and they have a semi-random spread.

While in the air, right-clicking with the Roxcalibur will cause the player to dive downwards and bounce off tiles and on top of enemies in a similar manner to the Slimy Saddle. Upon hitting tiles, the player creates a shockwave and bounces considerably higher. The shockwave does 300 base damage and has a cooldown of 15 seconds; during that time, the player will still bounce off of blocks but will not create the shockwave, and a sound will play upon hitting a block. When the shockwave becomes available again, rock particles appear around the player and a sound plays to indicate it.

Roxcalibur can be found naturally in the world, in a random location within the Underground or Cavern Layers, and can be harvested with a Pickaxe. Only one Roxcalibur can be generated per world.

Its best modifier is Legendary.

  • During the generation of the Roxcalibur in world creation, the message reads "I Wanna Rock."
  • The weapon is a reference to Excalibur from Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. Both the excalibur and roxcalibur take the typical story of a sword in a stone and twist it by having a warrior take the stone with them for use with the weapon.
