Reaper Shark (After Polterghast has been defeated) | 1 | 33.33% |
The Valediction is a Godseeker Mode rogue boomerang that drops from Reaper Sharks after Polterghast has been defeated. It continuously throws large homing reaper scythes that travel in high velocity, and can pass through tiles. Each reaper scythe can damage and pierce through unlimited enemies, but a thrown scythe will return soon after striking its intended target at least once.
Performing a stealth strike with the Valediction causes three typhoons that deal half of the scythe's damage to appear on enemy hits.
Its best modifier is Flawless.
Notes[]
- Reaper scythes may orbit their target at high speed, dealing damage multiple times before returning. On rare occasion they can miss their target entirely.
- The Valediction's stealth strike only deals 90% damage to The Devourer of Gods.
Trivia[]
- The word "Valediction" means the action of saying farewell.
- The weapon's sprite was previously used by The Reaper before it was reworked into a Challenge Drop.
