The Warbanner of the Sun is a Post-Moon Lordaccessory that drops from Providence, the Profaned Goddess in Malice Mode. Melee damage, true melee damage and melee speed boosts linearly scale with how close the player is to an enemy, with a maximum boost of +20%. Bonuses start when the player is 30 tiles or closer to an enemy. It should be noted that the general melee damage and the true melee damage boosts stack, meaning true melee weapons will do a total of 40% more damage at maximum.
